UpNorth Hartside
Meet 8th October
The season finale rideout and meet to Hartside took place on the 8th October. Almost 40 Ducati's plus assorted European twins gathered at England's highest cafe for lunch. Rides had started at Ducati Stores in Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester and made their way to the cafe on some of the best roads in the North and to make the day the sun came out as well. Thanks to all who attended.

August 26
David and Duncan's Magical Mystery Tour started from Moffat and made its way to Eyemouth on the east coast, crossed back via St Mary's Loch , on to Portpatrick and finally returned to Moffat, congratulations to the small bunch who completed the full route of 450 miles and got back to the bar at 9 PM to find the majority of the bunch already celebrating. The hangovers on Sunday morning suggested that party had gone on well into the night.

August 17
Martin organised another track evening and despite torrential rain across the rest of the UK Knockhill stayed dry. You can read the stories of the night in this forum thread. Big thanks to Scottch for taking the photos .

Due Oulton Park - July 8th
Photos from the DesmoDue Race Series round at Oulton Park Organised by the Ducati Sporting Club and New Era DesmoDue is a race series for 600 and 620 cc Ducatis. 2 classes of racing and over 60 riders make for some exciting racing. View photos

Raid
The Lakes - Jun 9/10/11
The "weekend" started early with local riders meeting up with the DSC Beds/Herts/Camb group at Hawesand riding together to Glenridding on Ullswater. On Saturday morning over 50 Ducati's met and rode around the Lake District stopping at Ravenglass for lunch before returning to the Inn on the Lake for dinner in the Glenridding Room. A late night and excess of alcohol meant there were a few less on the Sunday's ride to Devils Bridge.

Hizzy Run - 21st May
Wow, what a turnout, 35 Ducati's parked outside the Hizzy Museum in Hawick, a fantastic day out had by all, some mega distances covered and hats off to Pibbow coming down to the Borders from the Isle of Arran, Steve 748 has also recorded about 400 miles today !
Luckily Hizzy's MonsterMob 998 RS was on display before being moved to another show.

Easter Monday Lakes Rideout
Another rideout with over 20 bikes from as far away as Edinburgh, Cheshire and South Yorkshire met in Bowness on Windermere then headed off around the Lake District stopping in Whitehaven for lunch then on to Penrith and home. Vic managed over 350 miles on his new 999 in one day. Photos here

Leeds/UpNorth Yorks April Rideout
25 Ducati's met at Ducati Leeds on 2nd April and despite the weather made their way to Devils Bridge and back. Heavy rain and flooding prevented the ride following its full course but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves despite the weather. Photos courtesy of Ian Wood (Dseered)

Mountain Bike Ride - Glentress 21 Jan
Most of us have our Ducati's put away for winter so a small, dedicated bunch of upnorth members decided to take to pedalling instead. 8 of us met at Glentress Forest, near Peebles for a mountain bike ride. Well, most off us did Davieravie spent the day in the cafe claiming his dog didn't want to go for a walk!! and RockJock sped of with his hardcore bunch of Cycling Club riders leaving 6 of us to take to the trails.
