Wanted 748/9** speedo drive unit

HEllo,

Mine stopped working just after new tyres fitted. Me thinks wheel done up to tight and broken small driver ring inside.
Any help?
Common issue I am told.

from memory (not always to be trusted) the driving ring is basically a large flat washer with two lugs bent to fit - check if they are misaligned/bent wrong and just need to shape. It could be a no-cost fix!

Yep.It happens all the time.They don't engage the drive into the lugs properly,tighten it all up and all it does it bend them flat!
