John Hackett (Well, his son Rick) did a good job of mine, but you would need that 'good cash' you were talking about

He is quite used to finding Scotsmen kipping in their cars at his gate at 7am and makes a good tea and toast.

Ducati John.

Top bloke. Top quality work. Good prices. The only person I will let touch my 800ss race bike.

TWPD beat me to it - John is brilliant and I (now it's out of warranty) never let anyone else do my bike for me. Again let hin know I sent you. Try his mobile for a quick contact.

Seems Ducati John wins by a nose... I have no experience with him but have heard nothing but good reports. If you decide to go with John Hackett / JHP, he now runs Ducati Coventry (http://www.ducaticoventry.com/jhp-projects.php). Please also mention that I recommended him.

I also hear good reports of Neil (Nellie) at Cornerspeed. The new owner of my 748 (853) deals with him.

You could try Stuart at YPE in Dalkeith, bit more local. He has done stuff for me and a few others on here, all good reports back.

Ducati John is the man for this, totally agree with the TWPD and Rockjock advice, have had major work done by him and so pleased with results, ok he is in Rothwell nr Leeds but its 5 min off the motorway and easy to find....You are obviously spending a bob or two so distance should not be a problem for a job well done......
Having said all that Eddie at ERS should be able to sort you but its all about choice and you to decide!!
Good luck with it....

Hi,
If you are in Paisley I would suggest Eddie at ERS:-
http://www.ersracing.co.uk/
In my humble opinion the best Ducati tech in Scotland?
Cheers

I echo the comments of Steve.

Eddie at ERS (you will find him on here as 851+) has done a fair bit of work on my bike. Top service from a top bloke.

You will feel like you have 2 new bikes.

I suppose the good news for all of us is that there is choice of who to go to.

Hate to state the obvious (and rarely tout for business on the forum) and am surprised no one has chimed in as yet but, we are just 7 miles from you in Glasgow and have an award winning team that can easy do a rebuild / restoration for you!
