View Full Version : 2000 Mile Report

After putting some miles on my Supersport 1000DS there is two areas that I need to improve , both are associated with vibration.

1 :The mirrors can only be used when the engine has reached the sweet spot on the rev range , the vibration level is very low at this point.
2 : When riding for long periods I have found that my right hand has pins and needles , If you keep going it tends to move up your arm and is very uncomfortable.

The fitting of bar weights has reduced the hand problem by 30% but I feel that further mods are required.

What my best options and what areas should I be looking at.

I agree. I am not sure if you are in Scotland or North England but if you can take it to ERS Racing at Knockhill. Not only is Eddie a Ducati specialist he specialises in suspension. He did my 1198 last month and it has completely changed the ride and feel of the bike beyond all recognition. It costs about 100 or so but well worth it. :)
