Hi to all its getting time for winter service, now the weather change is here. Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy OEM belts for a 999 biposto 119 is the best I can find and think that's mad. I paid 80 two years ago would be grateful thanks again

California Cyclework's Exactfit belts (http://ca-cycleworks.com/products/maintenance/timing-belts/tb999) come at a good price and are well thought of in the USA, but by the time you add carriage, and possibly VAT and import duty, they may end up not much cheaper.

Try giving Ducati John a ring, he's always been reasonable with price for me, and of course it would give you an excuse to visit hallowed ground...:)

I recently serviced my Monster and bought all the bits I needed from Moto rapido in Hampshire, they have an ebay store and do 'kits' for the home service enthusiast which are very keenly priced.
All Ducati OE bits too, not shoddy aftermarket stuff

Hopefully thats not 119 + VAT. In my experience that's more like it (not quite as much but 2 years ago, about 135) + inflation that's about right for now

I never mess about with cambelts - I always buy from reputable source - even Ducati (Leeds).
False economy to be scraping around to try and save the odd tenner here and there on something fundamental to the engine.

that's right DrD I do buy all OEM Ducati spares that's what I am looking for, see if there was a cheaper source, I use Ducati Manchester ( never buy pattern parts )
