If its been 8 weeks and you've not exercised it for that length of time, I doubt you will have any muscles left. You could be in for a nasty shock when the brace comes off. Maybe best to get a stick thats chin height so your neck doesn't fold first time. Baby steps mate......

Bummer that Tam can't manage on Sunday now but better to err on the side of caution than to make make matters worse and miss the masher.

Well.....that was an eventful day, met Nic, Foxy, Rossman 999 at Duc Glasgow, I had the obligatory full brekkie across the road :D Tradditional brekkie it said on the menu......no sausage or bacon with it  Anyway, polished that off and went back across the road to join the others who had turned up by this time. About 15 bikes.

Keith and all his wisdom told us to be there for a 10am set off time......12pm the rideout started and not even Yorkhill hospital where we headed off to. Left there and headed up to Oban. Lets just say at this point I headed for Glentress on my own.....enough said :o

Had BBQ there (starter and main course :D ) and then headed back down the road to try and miss the rain that was forecast. Down side was someone on an R1 came off, taking out a metal pole and was lying in a ditch. Everyone stopped to help him but he wasn't moving. He was conscious and talking/laughing but he couldn't get up. Ambulance called and his mates came back to wait with him.

Keith good job you eventually succeeded in leading us to the Barbie after the half nine for 12.00 sharp escapade.
I set the alarm for 8.00 when in fact I should have set it for 11.30 and I would still have made it.
Not to worry after a slow start the pace quickened and a decent day was had by all.
