Maybe kit needed, where to buy / look ???

Maybe looking for some kit to buy very cheap, or borrow for a couple of rides early spring.

Ladies gear, boots size 3, leathers/cordura with armour size 6 and little gloves !

Not sure if she will like going on the bike but she is willing to give it a go, as a concientious rider I would prefer full kit from the first ride, I've not really given a helmet (:rolleyes: ) much thought but feel it would be better to get to a shop and purchase, it will be very small anyway so I guess it will be into kids sizes.

Has anyone got any experience in such matters ????

Links if possible, I have looked on fleabay to no avail, I will keep an eye out though !

I took ages writing that, knew that it would create some comments, new lady friend is fairly small so small kit needed, I have a couple of old crash hats but she would need to wear about ten balaclavas for them to fit.

As for the leathers, anyone know what the euro for ladies size 6 is ???

Might be worth just visiting your local Hein Gericke - there's bound to be a sale on at this time of year. They'll probably have plenty sizes in stock too.

If nothing else, you'll get to watch her slipping in/out of a few sets of leathers! ;)

Dseered goes into dreamy mode, I think HG would be a good plan, if only for a lid, I would imagine it is going to be very hard to get one small enough, I'll give it a go though, in Carlisle next couple of weeks so will have a look !

He is away that weekend, thats were the nightmare is, he is a star at looking after her, just he is away ???

Thats what I thought, I can get a lift down on the Sat afternoon with someone who is heading for London, I can get back with anyone heading for Scotland, I'm about 6 miles off M6 then you carry on and pick up the A6 Shap before picking up the M6 again, fun road.

Just the dog stopping me, will assess during the week !
