Hi,

hope I'm not breaking any forum etiquette, and your not as harsh an audience as DSC.

Anyway, as it says my 748 for sale.

M reg, 17k, sps top end (heads, cams, valves), PC111, brand new 50mm Termis, new battery, newly powdercoated wheels, Ohlins rear shock, Hyperpro steering damper, mono seat and subframe, TSS sprocket carrier, chain & sprockets less than 500miles, Pirelli Diablos less than 1000miles, DP rearsets with reverse shifter, stainless chainguard, titanium wheel nuts and front axle pinchbolts, most other fasteners replaced by stainless or alloy, gold-plated Dzus fasteners. Carbon shock guard, swingarm guard, front mudguard, keyguard, tank protector, number plate holder, radiator fairing, sprocket cover, clutch cover. Bike has been regularly looked after by Ducati Glasgow in the 2 1/2 years I have owned it (2 major services in 6k miles). Last service in September '05 with new belts, 6 new rockers, valve adjustment and oil change. This bike is in VGC, has been dynoed at 119bhp (2 more than the current 749R I believe) with the current set-up and would make either a very competitve track bike or the basis for a tricked out version of this perennial classic. Rear stand goes with bike.

You can see pics on Ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4614503912&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

If anyone wants pics e-mailed or has questions just let me know.
BTW I'm looking for £3000.

Cheers,

Iain C.

Iain,

What are you selling your baby for???

I hope you'll be replacing it with another Duc? ;)

Scott, the usual reason, money! Can't really justify having 2 bikes, one which I don't use and the other (the 748) I don't use enough. I've still got the 900ss which is just about coming to fruition; hopefully I'll be on that for the next rideout.

Ahhhh!

I never realised you had another Duc' mate - good luck in selling the 748!
