Ducati beats the Lambo on 5th Gear !!!

Hi All

Well it was great to see Ducati kicking the Lambo's arse tonight on 5th Gear. It was even the basic 1098 (wasn't even the uprated 's' model), how about that an £11k bike being better than £151k worths of Lambo... However I do realise size and power to weight etc...

When will supercar makers accept it, that a Ducati is a 'Wolf in Sheeps clothing' and at the time of going to press just currently can't be beaten ....

Ducati's are just............. Awesome .................

Only got gifted 1 1/2 hours in the Gallardo, it was enough for me to fall in love with it forever !

Thing is, they were miffed enough to go and get a faster car to try and beat the Duke - but still used the same Duke.

didnt see this but in similar vein....

watched a prog last night where they pitted a 355 against a corvette in 5 challeneges and the vette won....even 2 orf the 3 the handling challenges!!! the old boy driving it may have had pipe and slippers on the pace he was moving at in the 355....the guy in the vette was changing geometry and really trying hard

had to turn it over, irrationalI know, but I was shouting at the old tosser to let me have a go!! and the missus didnt take kindly to that :rolleyes:
