He could have bought one made in China for £20 from his local hobby shop. But try getting the level of detail, finish etc for that money, this guy is paying substantially more!!!! :)

Lots of people us that term, but the correct term is BF109 (which is short for Messerschmitt Bayrische Flugzeugwerke)

...I wondered how long it would be before you made some scarcy comment!!!! :lol2:

The Imola is just a small model, I have used clever use of perspective and shadows etc. to make it look full size.....:D

...yes you could say that, but Messerschmitt is the family name and Bayrische Flugzeugwerke is German for Baverian Aircraftcompany. So its the same for Fokker Wulf (again family surnames) FW190 the FW stands for Flugzeugwerke and so on and so forth...

- God everyone knows that, don't any of you know anything?? !!!! ;) :D :o

I remember visiting the Hornby factory in Margate on a school trip when I was about 9. It was great and it was all made in Margate, including Scalextric. Oh how things have changed. At least I know that that Emil I built was made in Scotland!!!:)
