Is it possible to stop itunes from 'Processing Album Artwork' I couldnt care less about the album covers and stuff, waste of disk space and time (just had to reload itunes and search database so taking forever to get album artwork for several thousand tracks  :comp2: )

Hi Steve,

No longer use Itunes as another better S/W is available called 'Anapod'. This allows much more flexibility in whatever you want to do, plus you can save to Ipod and D/L music off your ipod that others add to it plus much, much more...

You know what the problem was?

the new Mac USB keyboard!

new ipod wouldnt sync to itunes, just froze part way thru, checked on a few geek sites to no avail, then came across some guys blog. Macbook + new aluminium keyboard + itunes + 5th gen ipod = no no!

spent 4 @@@@in hours last night moving mp3's to hard drive which shagged all the play lists, then back again which shag shagged the playlists! unplugged keyboard and hey presto!
