As some of you may know we (Lily and me) like to get our hands mucky and yesterday was no different out with a few of the usual suspects over the peaks, thought you might want to see the video

LOL, never seen thingy Edge done so slow! :D We used to go that way on the DH bikes thru winter, some awesome trails! Cant remeber the name but there's a really steep, really rocky track back down to the road, we raced each other (about 8 of us) to the bottom, it was so good we pushed the bikes back to the top just to do it again :D

Stanage Edge? Home to well over 1000 climbs, including some of the fiercest boulder problems anywhere in the world. Once did 101 route, all solo, in one long day. What an awesome place to climb, recommend it to anybody. As you say, Steve, a great quick downhill course too. We pedalled up it once too!

yep Stannage edge. Is hard work to ride up on an MTB and the flat'ish smooth rock path along the top is heavy going as well. To be honest I reckon it's easier to ride down it on an MTB than the dirt bike as the weight of the dirt bikes means you need more speed to clear the drops but they are not quite as easy to nip round the big rocks when it goes pear shaped :D

No idea what those two were doing playing silly buggers at the step, I was sat at the bottom hiding from the wind which was trying to blow us away!

Biggest problem is once you stop and have to get over a ledge sections you just get the front wheel stuck so the only way to do it is to keep moving and keep the speed up.

It's all a bit dirty to me, I don't like getting dirty let alone having a dirty bike. (now a dirty LandRover on the other hand.....grin factor :D )

besides I couldn't make out which ones were Jon and Claire! :) :(

ok the bit we are talking about with the bike going up and two blokes faffing about is stannage and the other week we met 3 land rovers trying to get down it... vry very very slowly!!

Jon is in the orange Jacket and white lid, I am in the dark gear with number 403 on the bike. I am the one that parks it into the banking on the steep hill landing face first in the dirt but not actually leaving the bike :D :D

yes sir!!

Is this a challenge? I reckon I may be able to find one or two speeling mistakes or grammatical errors if I were to go looking ;)

Doesn't usually bother me 'cos there's too much of it out there - but this is a place name and ought to be correct. It would be like calling Jon, John or Martin, Marrtine, or Leeds, Leads or Liverpool, Livverpoole.

Guy I'd thoroughly recommend it and I'd imagine there would be plenty of good lanes up in your neck of the woods, the guy who dove into the ditch isn't too far from you.

Ah so you get just as much flack as I do then :D
