Gawd bless em, I get it in the neck at work and expect to put me feet up at night, but wifey called in a bit of a distressed state and if I'm honest I think it was a ploy, no more no less.
Now, she's trying to keep her mind occupied and to her credit she's usually pretty good at jigsaws. Only last week she was over the moon cos she completed a jigsaw in 3 hours, when on the box it said 3 years and over.
Anyhoo, she calls and says she's struggling with her latest purchase, a seemingly massive jigsaw of a rooster chicken thing.
All distressed she doesn't know where to start and bits are missing and can't find the edges and no corners and just about every excuse in the book.
Long and short of it I gets a bus (already a few guinness in the gullet) and gets round there, tellls her to
put the cornflakes back in the packet and quit calling me.
