SDC Back on Track in 2012 with two track events !
Following the success of our track nights in 2010 and 2011 Scottish Ducati Club will run two track events at Knockhill racing circuit in 2012 as follows :-
Strictly Italian, Saturday 19th May, 4-6pm
Many members have other Italian motorcycles as well as their Ducati so this is a chance to get out that MV, Laverda, Guzzi, Morini, Benelli, Aprilia etc and let it stretch its legs in good company. Or just take the Ducati. Modern or classic, it doesn’t matter as long as it's Italian.
Strictly Ducati, Saturday 14th July, 6-8pm
As it says, this one is Ducati-only, and a rare chance to see so many of Bologna’s finest creations enjoying themselves around Knockhill.
In keeping with the ethos of SDC, these events will be run along the following lines :-Track days are great fun and really let you discover the pedigree of your own Ducati. If you have never done one before then come and have a go !. We will provide advice and encouragement for novices. Regular track day Ducatisti will know what great fun track days are but this one will be 100% Bologna’s finest motorcycles on track.
- SDC members only
- For modern bikes or classics, superbikes, Monsters, Multistradas, etc
- For any level of track experience, beginners and experts alike
- a FUN and friendly event with a few simple rules to ensure safety
- Not about who is the fastest but to let people find their own comfortable pace
- A social event where SDC members can meet up for banter and a bimble around the track, followed by snacks, soft drinks, more banter and a raffle.
The cost of a place on each event is £70 per member. So, now that we have convinced you to come to these superb events we need you to book your place on a first come –first served basis by sending an email to Graeme@scottishducaticlub.co.uk stating whether you wish to book for both events or just one. Last year's event was over-subscribed so don’t delay!. If you need more convincing or encouragement to come on this event please drop me an email at the same address and I will try to help with any information or advice you need.
IMPORTANT - Drivers Licence: You must bring with you and present a full current and VALID UK drivers licence issued by the DVLA
