    Default New Fellow Ducati Owner

    Awrite Troops,

Purchased myself a 2013 848 Evo Corse SE on the first of March from Ducati Glasgow, who are definitely one of the best dealerships for cars/bikes I have ever dealt with.

Coming from a japanese inline 4 to very alien V-Twin was daunting at first but now I love every minute of it, Ducati definitely have the little something special.

After a couple of Trackdays and various road trips I am at the tinkering stage, with the next step being setting the suspension up. I have been reliably informed ERS at knockhill do an excellent job, so hoping to get booked in sometime soon.

I have added some protection to the bike in the form of R&G sliders which I can verify from past experience unfortunately work well. I also want to protect the expensive alloy fuel tank, but unfortunately the R&G and other brand sliders dont fit very well given the tank is slightly bigger. I have been in touch with a custom carbon fibre company who can make up tank sliders to fit the 2013 SE at a very good price, and gets cheaper the more I buy, so thought I would put some feelers out to see if there is any other '13 Corse owners interested in such a thing? I am aware its quite a rare bike.

    Cheers,

    Stuart

    Welcome on board mate.

I replied to your FB message last night but my iPhone FB App has decided it doesn't want to send me notifications of new messages any more so I only saw it late on. I'll be at the track morning on 6th July if you're going. You'll most likely be passing my place if you are riding up so I could maybe meet you on the road (if you're going that is).

I'll FB you my mobile number as the FB app is getting a bit unreliable.

    Cheers.

    Andy
