    You kickstart an 860? You must have cast iron shins When I had the GTS any attempt to kickstart it always ended with me painfully cracking my shin off the footrest.
    I look forward to your progress over the next year, or two or maybe three

    Yup, I prefer kick starting to the electric foot no matter what the bike. All part of being an old git. TBH the ol girl is easy to start and I learnt a long time ago with my other 860s how avoid the constant bruised shins lol!

    Carrying on the winter theme my restored 860gt a few winters back and also one of my current projects a 860gts, electric start . Big thanks to Paddy for the carbs.

    Nice one Derek!

    I really do miss having a Guzzi around, always wanted a T3 for long distance easy cruising. Had a 750 Targa about 7 years ago, wish I never sold it. I do have an old Suzi VX800 (also a V twin shaftie) which does a really good job but it will never have the soul of a Guzzi.
