    Hi Robbie,
Are those attending having a sit down meal tomorrow night?
I'd like to pop into "Newtn" and meet you folks. If you are having a meal together, is there room for one more?
    And weather looking not bad

    Mike

Up the A76 to Thornhill and then follow the A702/A712 all the way to Newton Stewart.

Anyone else want to join me
What time do you think you'll be in Dumfries?

Ive taken the day off too: travelling across from Morpeth.

Well gone by then - especially if it's raining (which the very latest forcast shows)

    Hey buddy,
Yeah the plan on Friday is to have an evening meal but as folks are all arriving I at different times it's jus gonna be as and when.

On Saturday night we hope to all be sitting down for a meal at the same time but that is to be confirmed with the hotel so should be about 8pm

Sorry can't be more specific just that things and times tend to be very relaxed

Thanks to one and all for a great weekend

Great ride home on roads that dried out near dumfrise. St Mary's Loch was a blast!

    Take care

Good to hear you all had a great weekend. I couldn't make it myself this year. I'm currently sweltering in 30 in Heidelberg.

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care

So .... a fab weekend: many thanks to the organisers and it was great to meet everyone there!

Things I will remember about this Midgie Masher:

Someone came to grief at a roundabout, but hurt only the brake lever, an indicator and their pride

Someone didn't keep his eye on his breakfast

Somebody had 0 miles of fuel remaining when we reached the petrol station

The food was great, although what you got at breakfast was a bit pot luck (two poached eggs with bacon ....?)

Sadly, a couple travelling to the Masher from Europe by car were involved in a collision and ended up in hospital in Carlisle. All our best wishes for a full recovery go to them

A journalist joined us to road test a Diavel

Nobody got rained on ( very much)

And lastly, two things that amused me:
    The Cock Inn
Six cows licking a red van

    Thank you!!
