Yes its open to everyone... the event that is...The more the better...The ride up is a bit different........ As long as those joining any SDC members riding up are respectful and don't ride like fannys (yes we have experienced this before).

Was wondering the same. Is everyone going round Loch Lomond route. Where would be relatively central for everyone, i'm livingston so can get to most meeting places with ease.

As a central meeting point in the past, we have used Stirling Services next to the M9 ( Petrol Station ) Then back onto the M9 and come off at the Prudential, loop round in front of Stirling Castle and onto the A811 to Balloch / Loch Lomond ....... AA Route planner states it will take approx 1 - 1/2 hrs from Falkirk to Loch Fyne ? So are we looking at 9 or 9:30 as a meeting time ( Stirling Services. )

    Red face Loch Fyne Ride

If you do meet at Stirling, could we have a 2nd pick up point at Balloch? McDonalds maybe? This is my first group ride out....and proper ride full stop in about 1yr.... so I might ride like a fanny but not in a bad way just a forgotten how to ride way.

Also if we comment on the FB page does anyone use it/reply? I didn't as wasn't sure if used but personally be much easier than having to log in here.

    Hopefully see you Sunday

That sounds like a good second pickup point, anyone know what the timing would be for the Stirling group going past?
I still aint sure if I can make this one for sure or not, it all depends how much work I get done on Fri & Sat.

Yes, lots of folks do use it and will often reply rather quickly to posts/messages, although not always (we don't necessarily have the same membership on the SDC FB page compared to the SDC DuN section here...so we use both to advertise events so as to make sure everyone stays informed.
The other advantage of using the fb page is if you comment on something in there, I am sure then you will automatically get a notification if someone else comments later/too.
