Default One of the good things about the NC500.....

....is that's where everyone else is! Took a run from Inverness, Garve, Achnasheen, Lochcarron, Kishorn, Sheildaig and back to Achnasheen. I didn't even cross the Bealach na Ba due to convoy of Campervans descending
Traffic on route was very light and road surface improvements by EU funding were impressive (I'm sure this funding will be matched by those lovely people in Westminster post-Brexit, NOT).
    Anyway here's a few pics:

    Blimey Robbie, late night!

I think photobucket want the account owners to upgrade to more storage space with access to public links, with users backing up 1000's of photos to online storage, I guess its reasonable...

    If done cheaply.

Aye am on holiday now so making most of not having to go to bed early!!!

Now you mention it... I do recall somewhere reading about it.

So does that mean folks who have upgraded can see them but others cant?

I don't use it anyway , if I ever post photos I link then from my Facebook, works for the SDC page and my own private one.

Interesting.....the Up north preview showed the pics. Ironic that I joined photobucket to share pics here. Apologies for technical hitch I'll try again.

As you may have noticed (or maybe not) Photobucket made a major change a couple of weeks ago.
They don't permit 3rd party links anymore which means you cannot upload pictures there and link them in any forum.
The only way that this still works is to pay them $399 (305) / year for a premium membership.

Pictures that you have uploaded to your Photobucket account will not be deleted but the consequence of this change is that links you have posted in this forum won't work anymore. I have never used Photobucket so it doesn't affect me.

I've moved onto imgur for posting on forums. That's only because my flickr is full of my serious photography and don't want to spam it full of crap.

I use Google Photos because I have my Android phone set so that photos are automatically uploaded to the cloud. So it is very convenient as I don't have to subsequently upload, resize, etc., although I did have a problem for a while when Google changed the sharing rules. I could see the pics but nobody else could
