    Default Luggage

Has anyone had problems with the panniers on a 2015 S Touring. I use mine all the time as I use the bike when I'm on Blood Bike duty but this weekend, returned from the Ride to the Wall and the left side pannier will not release and I haven't a clue why !!!!

It should be a matter of turning the key and lifting the flat bit behind the handle, this should allow the pannier to be slid backwards and released from the mount.

Cheers Derek but as I said in my post I use them all the time and the right side released as normal but for some reason the left side will not disengage, the handle lifts and the pannier slides back as you would expect but the pannier does not release from its front bracket, its got me beat.

If the pannier is sliding back there shouldn't be anything holding it so it may not be sliding fully back. Try giving it a thump at the front with the heel of your hand. I seem to remember that mine were sometimes a bit sticky and the advice I got from DG was to grease the tabs that fit into the sockets now and again - but you'll need to get it off first.

Thanks Derek, its sorted, just used brute strength. The bracket pocket was full of road crap which is now cleaned out.
