    Default 996 electrical woes

I just got my bike back on the road as it had a fuelling issue which turned out to be a split hose from the fuel filter.
I changed the filter and pump while I was there and even managed to finally get the assembly to seal in the tank. Took the bike for a quick run and it was fine.

Yesterday however I went to start it and it seems to have developed an electrical issue.
Turn the key and the dash lights come on and the pump primes... then press anything starter/lights/indicators and it dies. When I release the starter or turn the lights off neutral light comes back on and the pump primes again.
Seems like an earthing problem but Iíve checked all relays, fuses and wiggled wires to no avail.

Anyone got any suggestions where to start with this or what checks I should be doing?
I donít think itís anything to do with changing the fuel pump as I unplugged the tank and the problem is still there.

    Thanks in advance

It's a poor connection in the main supply, possibly at the battery or the battery ground to engine.

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care

    Sorted.
2 connectors behind the battery box were covered in crud.

    Cheers
