I agree Derek, well done Douglas does this mean that we can now have the same information on all of the three platforms?

Would be good just to log into any of the sites and see info.
I use all the sites but it has been maddening to see info posted that others I know cannot pick up.
Hopefully things are on the up.

This good thread needs to be moved out of the flame room IMHO?

I agree, it’s such an important part of the club’s history and future. DuN used to be the main method of communication for the SDC and, to me at least, is the easiest of the three platforms to access and view historical and current posts. You can’t move forward successfully if you ignore the past, so please Committee members communicate with the membership and give us your views on what should and will happen to enable all of us to see the same information on whichever of the three platforms is our preferred choice.

I was about to move the this thread to the Scottish Ducati Club forum but found that Frank has already done it (but hasn't redirected it so it still shows in the Flame Room )

No worries, I've deleted it from the Flame Room. I knew it was one of you and assumed it was Frank. Thanks anyway

Wow!!!!! Like it or hate it this looks like it may have helped. It's got a lot off folk talking a lot off sense and in for most off this thread in a constructive way!!! This was my intention all along, and certainly not for folk to get angry!! Life is way too short for that and hey folks we genuinely are all great friends!! Let's keep it like that and keep a fantastic club up there and one that we are all proud to be part off.
    Respect to you all

If as you suggest all of the information was replicated on all three websites, I don’t think there would be any cause for complaint or criticism.
A serious amount of time and investment would have to be made to replicate said information, and I think a BIG mistake. Social media in marketing terms is just a form of communication, if we start putting it across too many places the SDC and DUN message not only disappears but is also confusing. Let's stick to the knitting folks!

That’s all very well, but some people don’t/won’t use Facebook so if whatever is posted on Facebook isn’t available to them unless it is replicated on DuN which has a specific sub section for SDC. By all means use Facebook, Twitter etc, but in my opinion DuN is the better host for club members to easily find a current or historical topic.

Everything goes onto DUN 1st and everything thereafter, Domenico.
