Default What's happened post " CLOSED"

I see the what's happened post had been closed down by an Admin I assume.
It started as a flame room post and because it was receiving positive feedback it was moved to an open post.
    Now its closed down.
    EXPLANATIONS PLEASE ?
Never in all my years have I seen a post closed down unless offensive.

I am totally shocked by this and want this raised to all admins and want a serious discussion and get this sorted
    F...en fuming.
That's why we have a forum.
You get positives and negative views.
    That's why it's called a forum.

P.s. I'll get back to my knitting..

Iv'e just noticed that too, and it wasnt me this time

I was about to reply as there are a couple of points that have recently been made that I massively disagree/agree with from various people.

Jane if you could get in touch with me I would appreciate it as there is some advice I would like to give regarding using all aspects of social media for the clubs advantage without taking up extra time, something which I think I shared at the AGM but probably wasnt taken on board.

A WISE man speaks 'coz he has something to say. An IDIOT speaks 'coz he has to say something!

SERIOUSLY the DUN and SDC sites ran concurrently with info being posted within the hour.
I was reminded about this a few hours ago.
"Do you remember the days where EVERY event was on DuN calendar, facebook, and the SDC website for a year in advance. then the DuN chat was always started and discussed about 2 weeks before that particular event?"
Why had it now gone Pete Tong ?

The committee for the last 4 years actually.
    Sorry dropped a stitch there.

But, there appears to be a pattern forming.
The closed weaved club had become a club with no communication skills and no THREADS posted.
A club is run by communication and for the past 4 years there has been an extreme lack of that.

This was highlighted at the AGM as the club was loosing momentum and needed MESHED and WOVEN back into shape.
A specific position was made to do this but the BALL of communication has been dropped. The THREAD well and truly dropped.
We only recieved a curt post from the treasurer tonight and that's probably a first this year.
I was so taken aback I did not know if I was reading from the correct pattern sheet.
Anyway, the "what's happening " thread was at least opening things up to debate in the SDC knitting circle.
You dont realise how annoyed members are but look forward to the AGM where new Patterns will be discussed.
Need to go now as my weavers loom is red hot.

    Great thread
I dont want to cause any NEEDLE.
But wanted to put miss information to rights.
We need to PIN it down.
I need to go to sleep now as its all becoming a bit WOOLLY.
Hopefully after the Masher we can start this THREAD UP and put a new TWIST to issue.
Need to CUT and go as the Tailor would say.
Bet I've needled a few people but as I say we need to PIN the issues down.

I was at the Masher all weekend and I'm just catching up. I too am shocked by this. The moderators can intervene if a post is obscene, offensive, racist, slanderous or otherwise be a possible cause of legal repercussions. The post should never be closed because it doesn't suit a moderators point of view. The "What's Happened" thread is a very valid discussion pertaining to the Scottish Ducati Club's means of communicating with members. At no point has it breached any of the points I mentioned above.
To the moderators - Think before you act!

    Fake news?
Very wrong or poor choice of description, sorry to seem harsh, but it's important to get right in this case.

"Fake news, also known as junk news or pseudo-news, is a type of yellow journalism or propaganda that consists of deliberate disinformation or hoaxes spread via traditional news media (print and broadcast) or online social media"

More likely that one admin or moderator has opened it up again.
