Yes! That gives good accessibility to the engine and keeps the clocks and electrics dry; looks good to me.

Still persevering with the naked look and bought longer headlight brackets off ebay for 21. New and decent quality apart from shitey plastic sleeves to clamp to forks. I'll turn up proper one that actually clamp.
Think i'll stick the original front master cylinder back on as the one in the pics isn't as neat as the original which i've now got working again. Once i've sorted out the front end i'm going to machine new rear sets as the Ducati originals are pretty basic and rough looking. Thinking about a very dark green paint job similar to the Monster. Should go well with all the black stuff.

Is that the minimalist look Dove?
p.s. watch out when tightening these brackets they are die-cast and will snap easily if they are similar to the set that I purchased for the bitsa re-sold them before I used them and bought the Ceriani re-manufactured brackets, cant remember if the set I gave you were the short or long version, age thing!

The ones you gave me were the short ones. I think the cracking problem may be because of the shitty plastic sleeves supplied. Tried them and they are too slack. Never going to tighten up so i'll make new ones with a better fit.
