Default MULTISTRADA 1200s 2011 FUEL SENSOR ERROR

I am aware of the problems with the dash on the multistrada,s 2010--2014 due to condensation, but I am sure we have had this conversation at the highland social night. is there a way to stop/fix the fuel sensor error warning message coming on. can you advise. cheers ray.

"fuel sensor error warning message" Is the fuel gauge working Ray? The fuel sensor is a 'consumable item' on Multis, some have replaced numerous times. I've replaced the fuel sensor on two Multis. There are several suggested reasons, none definitive. One suggestion is that soldered connections dry out within sensor. Easiest fix is a new sensor, I have read that it has been upgraded over the years but still fails.

What Neil says. Be aware that there was a replacement sensor for some of the earlier bikes that required a dealer visit to update the dash software for it to work. I don't know if your bike falls into this category.

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care
